about

Woloso is the rhythm played for the slaves.
Woloso ("born in the house") refers to those who are descended from slaves (Djon) and is the equivalent of a caste.
The song says: "Don't refuse to be a woloso, child of a slave mother,
don't refuse to be a slave as the caste won't let you leave.
Everyone in Mali is considered, everyone has a role in society."
